that's mostly due to currency exchange. prices dropped in the usa and
went up in much of europe.

(Nor indeed does the refurbished products
section of the Apple store seem to have any iPhone 13 models.)

the 13 and 13 mini are current products, so refurbs will be scarce.

on the other hand, there are plenty of iphone 12 models, including the
12 mini, which was available refurbished a few days ago and gone within
a day. there should be more coming, since it's been discontinued.

My iPhone 8 has done pretty well, but I will soon want to get a new iPhone.

On the other hand I'm not really up to date with Apple's latest pricing trends and habits, so perhaps that doesn't happen.

Just been on myself ... lots of 12 minis on there now.

FWIW, I've had one (from an XS) about a year now and love it. Just the right size for my use (mainly catching up on social media, crosswords and news) and the smaller battery hasn't been an issue. Yet. I'd recommend the Apple leather case - they go on ebay for about £10.

I like them even smaller. I use an SE (1st gen) but would prefer one the size of the iPhone 4. Gutted that the SE won't run the new iOS; I have to make the decision between getting a 12 mini or sticking with the old iOS.

With my poor eyesight I’m looking for something larger than my standard iPhone 11 but the price of the 14 range is way above what I wish to spend.

I jumped to the SE v2 when I had the opportunity. Still a lot available
    on the second-hand market.

As I've grumbled on here before, I don't see any real similarity between the various iPhones which Apple have named 'SE'. The SE v2 is too big for me – I'd buy a 12 or 13 mini if I wanted one that big.

note that they are for a normal ipad. an ipad mini would have room to

LOL :) Could drop a hint just before Christmas? The trouble is I might do
some damage when sitting down and not just to my posterior ;)
