• Sleep settings?

From Alan Lee@21:1/5 to All on Mon Sep 19 20:48:39 2022
I've looked, but cannot find it, how do I turn up the sleep settings, so
    the screen stays on longer?
    OS 12.5.1
    Thanks
    Alan.

On my MacBook Pro running 12.6 it's under System Preferences -> Battery.

I'm not sure it always used to be there in earlier macOS versions. It's
under System Settings -> Lock Screen in the latest Ventura Beta I'm
    currently running though!

It's under 'Energy Saver' on 10.14 & I'm pretty sure it's been there
    for several OS versions prior.

Indeed - same here (iMac on 12.6). But not 'Sleep' - it's 'Turn off display'. Which I've always assumed is much the same, even though the fan doesn't seem
to stop when the display goes off.

that's because the mac is still awake and busy doing whatever it was
doing before the display was turned off.

It's different between Intel and Mseries too. Mseries are self-managing
    for sleep, it seems.
