Any guesstimates on when the next Event will be? It's going to have to be soon if they want one before the Christmas rush.

    Last week in October?

I’ve seen some reports (Techradar for instance) that there won’t be any more this year. Instead we should expect press releases. I don’t have any info or want to guess on what new hardware we might see but currently I’m looking forward to Ventura and the iPadOS upgrades any week or even any day soon.

rumours are that there won't be an october event, and new products will
be announced with a press release (and possibly a short promo video).

on the other hand, that rumour could technically be true if the next
    event is in early november.

there's a lot of stuff to announce, including an apple silicon mac pro, something that would justify more than a simple press release.

True. The lower scale announcements may indicate that the Pro has been delayed, and there'll be formal launch at another time.

rumour is that they skipped the m1 version and will be going directly
to m2, likely called m2 extreme.

but even without that, there's still a lot of other stuff to announce, including m2 pro/max macbook pro, m2 std/pro mac mini, entry level
ipad, ipad pro, homepod mini (even if only new colours), high end
homepod, apple tv and apple music classical.

there's also the rumour of ar/vr goggles, but that is almost certainly
    going to be next year.

either they're going to be generating a lot of press releases or there
will be an event, just not in october. it could be nov 1, a tuesday, as
    is their tradition.

One of the sites had their best guess of an event being today. However Microsoft then announced a Surface event today, and I suppose they don't
    want the media getting distracted.

I suppose when the MacOS and iPadOS updates make it out the door they might also announce new Macs and iPads. They can't ship new hardware until they
    are released.

I just noticed today that my ipad hadn't been updated to ipados 16. I guess
it would make sense now to release it with the updated range of ipads.

Not officially released yet, v15 is still the official current release!
Betas including 16.1 are available to developers.
