I'm familiar with how shit they are. I changed them to PCs at my last
two places of work. And.... everyone loved the change! Even a die-hard
Mac fanatic when he realised a Dell computer was half the price for the
    same power.

The loyalty amazes me. The only Apple product I have is a iPod Shuffle MP3 player our boss gifted us with one Christmas. That introduced my to iTunes
on Windows to load the damn thing. What a piece of dreck. I was used to players that are just another mass device when you plug them in.

Yeah my neighbour got an Ipod (I point blank refuse to put the capital letter in the middle of the word) and I had a hell of a job copying files from her Windows Laptop. You have to set up some kind of synch thing and just hope it might do it at some
point. FFS, she had a bunch of music on her laptop, and she wanted it on the Ipod to listen to on holiday. Why not just let me copy it from one folder to the other? Why do I have to learn a load of shit about Apple Synchronization?

Apple must have a hell of a product placement budget. How many movies have you seen where someone is working on a generic laptop rather than
something with the Apple logo front and center?

Actually I've seen Dell placed in Stargate Atlantis. I have seen a fair number of Apple ones though, more than there should be considering it's percentage of the market. I guess some people are swayed by that shit. Ooooh (fictitious character) likes
Apples therefore they must be good! Look the FBI use them. Oh wait, that's not the actual FBI in the film. I guess the lower intelligence arty farty range of folk that like Apples (like my sister) fall for that nonsense.

That's what I associate Apples with. I'm basically a whore but no one ever wanted to pay me to write Apple software so I've never used one. The only
place I've ever worked with them had the original Mac that looked like a toaster. It's claim to fame was it met the DOD TEMPEST requirements.
