    It's a long while since an app by Apple impressed me, but I have to say that Freeform is really pretty good.

    Lots of useful features which are only in *one* commercial note-taking
    program are all included in Freeform, with an elegant interface that's pretty intuitive. And it's free.

    Of course there are flaws (eg. I find it hard to distinguish the pencils in Dark Mode) but by and large, I'll be using it a lot. In fact, Valentina and I are already using it to work together on a crossword, even though we're in separate rooms. How cool is that?

    It's a good effort, but not enough to shift me away from Concepts just yet.
