    It was only last week that they were available. They are very guilty of pulling the ads off their site when they are still available in-store so worth a look there, particularly in a bigger store. Bear in mind that my negative experiences described in that thread relate to a Lidl device,
    albeit in Scotlandshire in sustained sub-zero temperatures but on a
    modern,
    well maintained car.

    Ah, looking again I see it claims improved low tempreature performance
    by the use of Lithium-Cobalt(III)-Oxide (LiCoO2) batts over Lith-ion so
    may be worth a punt if you find one.

    A bit of thread drift perhaps?
    I was looking for an air compressor which used my existing Lidl drill batteries.
    Much like the other options described up thread.

    P.S. there was a Lidl jump starter pack for £30+ the other day. Didn't
    check if it was also a tyre inflator.
