From The Natural Philosopher@21:1/5 to All on Thu Jan 9 11:00:18 2025
"Liz Truss has sent a cease and desist letter to Sir Keir Starmer
demanding that he stops claiming she crashed the economy.

Lawyers acting on behalf of the former prime minister argue that the
    statement is “false and defamatory”.

    and elsewhere:

"Pound Sterling has plummeted to its lowest level since 2023, with
Rachel Reeves failing to calm spooked markets.

The currency sunk 0.9% against the dollar today, hitting $1.226. It was
on course for its biggest three-day drop in two years. "

Rachel Reeves has done far far more damage than Liz Truss ever did...

She will get a knighthood, undoubtedly!

Or even "Dame Rachel Reeves". Ye gods.

She still insists that it's all the fault of the Conservatives, and
that she "had no choice in making her decisions on farming, tax and
private schools". One possible choice would have been to not do these
    things, surely?

We already have Two-Tier Starmer, what do we call
Reeves now, after this proof of her total incompetence?

I don't like Elon Musk, but if he can facilitate the resignation of
Starmer, I might change my opinion of him. I already applaud him for
    making that rocket return-and-grab possible.

I don't like Musk either, His Tesla thing was pure state capture. But I
agree, having a go at sir kneelalot is worth suspending criticism for...

..and as for recommending Tommy Robinson...At least it gave Nige a
