It puts Musk's competition in the EV market on the back-foot. Do they

Well the voting public have put Reform ahead of both the other mains
    parties in a poll today.

The times they are a changin'

So that means 6 MP's next time round instead of 4.

No, unless the Tories wake up and smell the coffee of immigration they
will have 4 or 6 seats.

Reform are now ahead in the polls of both Labour and Tories.

Well, depends on the poll, but close, certainly:

    https://www.politico.eu/europe-poll-of-polls/united-kingdom/

    (Lab 27%, Reform 24%, Cons 23%)

    Next
parliament will be a hung with some minority leaders holding power in exchange for knighthoods (again).

Hugely unlikely. Reform managed 14% of the actual vote last year and still
only managed 5 seats. The FPTP system effectively blocks Reform from
coalition. And they're too incoherent to involve in power sharing.

And Sir Nigel? I think not :-)

No, The FPTP mans that the transition from 6 seats to 160 seats happens
over an amazingly small percentage of the voter share.

    Reform are not incoherent.

Masks were only any use if they were high quality ones - not "use a
[woolly] scarf" as Matt Hancock said - properly used by trained medical professionals in a medical setting - e.g. a hospital - places full of
    diseases!

Even then I don't think the ones used by medics would stop the virus

Research only looked at stopping "droplets" - as if anyone is going to
    sneeze in one.

In public it was just "hygiene theatre" - the same goes for 2m spacing
and making everyone stay at home.

At the time (early 2020) I looked into the use of masks and from what I
read at the time common surgical masks were only of use in cutting down infection *from* the wearer to anyone else (which, of course, was their intended use in operating theatres). Scarves and other home-made masks
worn over the mouth had a similar but lesser effect. All masks of that
type had little effectiveness in prevent the wearer getting infected.

Other than full "respiratory-type" masks, the best option was FFP3 (N99
in the USA) type masks to prevent the wearer getting infected. FFP2
(N95) were of less use as they removed less infected material than FFP3.
I settled for valved FFP3 masks, but was told they would not be allowed
inside hospitals as they only prevented the wearer from infection, not
the wearer passing on Covid if they had it! A few months later I changed
to unvalved FFP3 masks (now used only as dust masks until Covid raises
    its head again).

No. Staying at home I never caught anything that I know of.
But I did catch stuff when I went to the supermarket, but whether that
was Covid or not I can't say. I had all the jabs and never tested
positive for anything, but I was never sick enough to bother to test anyway.

He was not so public and flaunting his odd character. He is trying to
change politics in other countries too. Maybe he just wants to rule the
    world.

Perhaps the best takeoff on the Hitler greeting, however, was that of

the chimpanzees enjoyed doing this.) Every time the animals saw

This dadaistic coup of the Paderborn comic, who was a committed Social

How about Elon Musk? He is getting a lot of flack about his raised arm.

    How quickly some forget.

And yes, I too am aware of how a press photographer can just be lucky
with a momentary "still" even though the subject had no intention of
doing what it looked like he was doing.

Luckily for Musk, the whole movement was captured on video.

As for the other bloke (see link), we'll just never know.
