When you need to check what you've sent later, Howard has a copy ( http://al.howardknight.net/ )
The MID you enter, has to have the less-than and greater-than characters on the ends.

    http://al.howardknight.net/?STYPE=msgid&MSGI=%3Cm1ce01Fos23U1%40mid.individual.net%3E

It looks like an excess of exuberance at the Clipboard. Some Clipboard magic.

Humph. All I did was copy the address from the Safari address bar. And concerning wrapping a URL in <>, I was under the impression that (a) most people don't, and that (b) it's only seriously advised when a URL is long enough that it's likely to wrap (which this one wasn't).

OK - looks like this needs scoping out on the Usenapp forum.

    Anyway, this is a side-issue.

With right and left angle brackets in place, a url that’s one character longer than the one you posted would have wrapped on my screen. Not
    everyone uses a wide screen.

You raised it, we’re just helping to get it sorted.

Well, you're going to find good in the general populace, mostly. But when it's known that a given government has form for kidnapping foreign tourists for political reasons, you might imagine that avoiding the country that the goverment controls could be a wise policy.

I see that they have been charged with spying which as far as Iran goes
