    Have you tried hot water in case it is water based?

    What's the substrate? Is it shiny, or something where the ink will have
    soaked in?

    Interesting idea. ;-) Can you get clear Sharpies? If our newly ordered “Graffiti wipes” don’t work we might try that.

    Some 'indelible markers' seem to contain a plastic that polymerises on
    contact with the air and isn't soluble in ANYTHING.
    Mechanical abrasion might be the best bet. Ajax/ T - cut etc
