My laptop has long strips of U-shaped rubber fastened underneath as "feet"
at the front and rear. The front foot pulled away and stretched so it was no longer possible to fit the lugs on the rubber into the locating holes on the plastic case - it caused bulges because the rubber had stretched. So I had
to cut the strip into several pieces, cutting out the excess, and glue them back on.
But what is the best glue to use. As far as I know the strip is rubber and the case is some sort of hard plastic.
Whatever glue I used before (*) worked very well for a few months, but some of the strips have gradually unstuck and become detached, probably due to
the large amount of wear that the front foot gets when the laptop is used on my lap or on bedclothes if I use my laptop in bed.
(*) I can't find the tube of glue...
