    Hello John,

    Thanks for all the information.
    I’m having the same problem with an ahs 40-24. There’s one point, underside, where the blades come in, that I can’t seem to open, no matter what I try.
    I went to a repair club and the guys practically tore apart the plastic to get it to open up, but no luck.
    What’s the trick? It’d be great if you could share some of the details. Thanks in advance
