    How very woke.
So I entered the quoted URL: gov.uk/HMRD.app

    and got page not found.

I wonder how long that has been like that?

Do a Google site search for screwups like this:

    site:gov.uk HMRD.app

    *******

    https://www.gov.uk/guidance/download-the-hmrc-app

    # Some download buttons here. Perhaps would work best, if
    # this URL was loaded on your phone in the platform browser.

You don't even need to do that, as Google works around minor spelling
    mistakes. It responds:

    Including results for gov.uk/HMRC.app
    Search only for gov.uk/HMRD.app

And, of course, the first result in the list is the right one!

I am pleased that HMRC haven't pulped millions of envelopes
unnecessarily. Nevertheless, well spotted, pinnerite. Maybe, you should
get a job as a proof reader.

But HMRC keeps telling you to never use a search engine, for obvious reasons

    Except:

    doesn't work either.
