A "Q-Connector", made for the ASUS 170 boards but hopefully available for >others. Ironically, like USB connectors, you have to make several attempts
to get the plug the right way round, currently the power switch is fine
but no power or LED light so I'll turn it round at next power off.

Unfortunately the fact this worked was a coincidence, it' not actually >compatible with the Z170-K, don't blame the manufacturer, I have 4 x
pin-out diagrams, all different :-(

The Q Connector supplied with the several Asus boards that I have used
over the years have had a blind hole at one end, so they connect in
one orientation only.
Have you tried reversing the extension connector yet? Does it make a >difference?
