Who said I can't? I can and I have 27 countries to choose from, unlike
    you.

So we may infer from the fact that you still live in the UK that it
beats all those other countries for whatever reasons. Otherwise you'd
have left by now. AFAICS you're in a privileged position to live where
you do and should be more grateful for it.

These days a lot of immigrants in Britain seem ungrateful to their host country.

True and they have a British passport and are from the religion of peace.

which side was Italy on in World War 2?

Did you have any particular date between September 1939 and September

The answer isn't the same for every date between those.

Italy was never on more than the one side, even after it had put its
    hands  up.

Let's look at the positives. At least Italy's head of state is not a
    foreign king.

Technicalities. Still the head of state. And hereditary.
    Unelected. Living in a castle.

The fact that he has no executive authority is a technicality? I

I was sure that you'd rather be a subject than a voter.

What power do you think he has over me?

He is literally on the money. He is the leader of the Anglican church.
The UK is a theocratic monarchy. It's worse than Iran.

Again what power do you think he has over me?

Even a stray cat would have powers over you.

I feel a Royal Family is the lesser of many evils. Anyone who would
prefer an elected dictator for a few years has the option of moving
    (back) to another country.

Without attempting to invoke Godwin's law I'm reminded of Hitler, and
    how he came to power.

Another one who prefers a King to democracy. Rule Britannia!

I would expect someone of your calibre to understand a constitutional
    monarchy.

When we had a king, he was not the leader of our religion. That was and
is the Pope, technically the absolute monarch of a foreign country. We
got rid of monarchy and we declared the Catholic church no longer our
state religion. The UK and 14 more countries, instead, are still stuck
    at Henry VIII.

Why do you need religion, stand on your own feet, not a jewish snake oil seller.
