A man riding a suspected stolen bike ploughed into a car moments after being spotted by police patrols.

Merseyside Police confirmed officers spotted a man riding the off-road motorbike on Parr Stocks Road, St Helens, shortly before 5.30pm yesterday, Monday. September 25. Patrols followed the man who was later involved in a crash with a black Ford Vauxhall
    Corsa.

The driver of the bike, a 23-year-old Huyton man, was arrested by police on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle and dangerous driving offences. He was taken to hospital with minor injuries after the incident.

An image sent to the ECHO showed a section of the road cordoned off by officers from several Merseyside Police vehicles. A man, dressed in shorts and a black hooded coat, appears to be in the process of being arrested.
The road was closed while the incident was dealt with by the force. A spokesperson confirmed it was reopened later the same evening.

    Another Misleading Mason post…

…where in a cycling group ‘bike’ means motorcycle.

Tut tut - hope the police weren't chasing it again - the one in Wales killed a pair of cyclists and got into deep trouble for it.

Let’s hope they don’t sue you for that remark.

When I was in hospital for four months, I saw several idiot drivers handcuffed to a police officer in the wards.

Several drivers and one police officer? How many arms did he have?
