    We are always told that cyclists who are forced to brake heavily whenever cars do this to them should just "suck it up". Wrong.
    ======================================================
    A van driver has been fined for cutting into queuing traffic.

    Jagdeep Singh, 33, appeared at Bromley Magistrates’ Court on November 8 where he pleaded guilty to driving without reasonable consideration for user road users.

    Singh was behind the wheel of a Mercedes Sprinter on the A20 Sidcup Road in Eltham when he caused almost caused a crash.

    The court heard that he drove in lane one, bypassing traffic which was queueing in lane two to turn right onto Mottingham Lane.

    But he then performed a “harsh right turn” towards a Ford Fiesta which was in the queue, the court heard.

    This caused the Fiesta to brake to avoid a collision.

    Magistrate Stephan Smith issued him a £276 fine, ordered him to pay a £110 surcharge and £85 in costs.

    Singh, of Blake Hall Road in Wanstead, was also given five points on his licence.

    Whereabouts in the queue was the chav-on-the-bike?

    It's rare to see one doing anything different from what that van driver
    is alleged to have done, isn't it?

    Queuing does not enter their "minds".

    Poor diddums had to brake - tough bananas.

    "IT'S NOT FAIR"!
    Cyclists don't get this level of protection when cars pull out on them and they have to brake suddenly.
