A fresh appeal has been made to track down a witness to a hit-and-run crash in which two women runners were seriously hurt.
The pair were exercising when they were struck by a car between Old Dock Approach Road and Marshfoot Road in Grays, Essex at about 20:15 GMT on 8 November.
Officers want to speak to a chav-cyclist they believe was overtaken afterwards.
A 21-year-old man, from Grays, was arrested two weeks ago.
Police said he has been released under investigation.
The two runners were hit by a car - thought to be a dark-coloured BMW - which failed to stop and drove off along Old Dock Approach Road towards the B149 Wood View.
It is thought a flashing red light was attached to the back of the chav-cyclist's bike as they travelled along Old Dock Approach Road.
The force added that "extensive inquiries" were continuing.
