Dashcam caught Tariq Zaman, 42, coming inches away from smashing into other vehicles as he hurtled down residential roads near Balsall Common in Solihull.

Every clearance gap can be measured in inches.

    That means nothing.

He led police on a terrifying ten-minute chase after he sped away from a routine stop at 11.45pm on July 21, 2022. Dashcam shows Zaman pretending to pull over in his Peugeot 407 after police flagged him down in Kenilworth, Warwickshire.
Shockingly, he sped away from officers and was clocked hitting 68mph in a 30mph zone by a school and 80mph in a 40mph zone on Birmingham Road towards Balsall Common.

What is the significance of the school at 11:45 pm?

    Please make your answer clear.

At one point Zaman became stuck behind a tractor and a passenger was seen getting out of the car and sprinting away. Footage shows a police patrol following him before he turned onto the opposite carriageway of the A452 dual carriageway.

Ah yes... Chester Road. I remember how useful it was before the M6
Midland Link was completed fifty-two years ago.

Police were forced to take another road but quickly caught up with Zaman who abandoned his car when he turned into a building site and fled on foot. He was found by a police dog hiding on a pile of rubble.
As he was handcuffed, he brazenly asked officers: “What did you think of my driving?” On being told it was “poor”, Zaman replied: “Why was it poor?”
Zaman, of Birmingham, admitted dangerous driving and was jailed for 20 months at Warwick Crown Court. He was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £156 and has banned from driving for 34 months.
Speaking after his sentencing last Thursday (17/1) Investigating officer Detective Constable Samir Hassan, of Warwickshire Police, said: “Zaman had a clear and flagrant disregard for the safety of the people of Kenilworth and Balsall Common.
“This chase involved so many near-misses and moments where Zaman almost lost traction completely that it’s a miracle that no-one was hurt. The gall of Zaman to ask for a review of his driving afterwards is astonishing – we’re not sure how many
stars 20 months in prison and a 34 month driving ban translates to, but it definitely isn’t five.”

    No-one as hurt, though?

Especially not the chav-cyclist who would have perhaps rendered your
    quoted rant "on-topic"?
