A common craze here is the filming by these idiots driving at 120mph plus then uploading the footage to social media which makes for easy pickings for the cops who don't even have to leave the safety of their desks!
A century ago it was harder to flee but the few who could get into a safe country were safe for that very reason.
With globalization it's easier to flee but the incentive to do so is much less for that very reason.
