• [Cycling] Rule 147 contains this good advice

From Spike@21:1/5 to All on Fri Jan 26 12:20:19 2024
    Rule 147

    Be considerate.

    […]

Try to be understanding if other road users cause problems; they may be inexperienced or not know the area well.

Be patient; remember that anyone can make a mistake.

Do not allow yourself to become agitated or involved if someone is behaving badly on the road. This will only make the situation worse. Pull over, calm down and, when you feel relaxed, continue your journey.

Slow down and hold back if a road user pulls out into your path at a
junction. Allow them to get clear. Do not over-react by driving too close behind to intimidate them.

Asking chav-cyclists to be considerate, even to each other, is a waste
    of breath.

Asking them to ride their chav-bikes with due consideration for
pedestrians or the users of motor vehicles is an even bigger waste of
    one's time.

    Another chav-cycling post, on-topic and non-trolling. Excellent.

One tends to think of cycling’s social-media drama-queens, who don’t seem to follow this advice at all, but will ride into a situation, not only
shouting but with all horns blaring too, demanding that all others bar themselves follow the rules.
