The claim about ‘enabling and requiring’ has been used before by Boardman,
in this article complete with the original misleading headline having been corrected. Well, this is the pro-climate BBC, after all:

Boardman’s Twitter / X post is a classic:
“I don’t normally get involved in calling out headlines but it’s just getting bonkers.
If this was directed at a gender, race or religion it would be rightly
called out as the hate speech it is. Mums, dads, sons and daughters being labelled as killers. It’s just got to stop.”
Doesn’t he realise that every killer is someone’s son or daughter and many
are mums, dads, etc?
