I was watching The Simpsons on Freesat SD. I'm sure this normally
shows shows 4:3 corrctly, which is fine for old Simpsons episodes that
are not HD. However today the 4:3 original was stretched to 16:9. I
switched to the non-freesat version of Channel 4 on satellite and was surprised to find it correctly displayed as 4:3. Comments?

My TV can only receive SD Freeview but
does have an HDMI socket for HD (and SD) from my Humax satellite
recorder.
