The crescent moon is an important symbol in Islam, representing the
lunar calendar and the Islamic months. It is also linked with Prophet Muhammad’s migration from Mecca to Medina, which is known as the Hijra. However many Muslims reject the use of the crescent moon as a symbol of Islam. The faith of Islam has historically had no symbol, and many

HAJ AMIN AL-HUSSEINI was the scion of the al-Husayni family of
Jerusalemite Arab nobles, who *TRACE* *THEIR* *ORIGINS* *TO* *THE*
*ISLAMIC* *PROPHET* *MUHAMMAD*, and the mufti of Jerusalem (In office: 1921–1937) and the “father” of Palestinian radicalism, is obviously a key figure for such debates. As is well known, from 1941 to 1945
Husseini lived in Berlin as the honored guest of Nazi Germany. During
this time, he notably collaborated with the Nazis in assembling the

The Lindt Café siege was a terrorist attack associated with #137 - "THE CALIPH OF THE MUSLIMS" AS IDEALISM that occurred on 15–16 DECEMBER 2014 when a lone gunman, MAN HARON MONIS, held ten customers and eight
employees of a Lindt Chocolate Café hostage in the APA Building in
Martin Place, Sydney, Australia.
The Sydney siege led to a 16-hour standoff, after which a gunshot was
heard from inside and police officers from the Tactical Operations Unit
(TOU) stormed the café. Hostage Tori Johnson was killed by MONIS and

Police have been criticised over their handling of the siege for not

of the siege, and for the lack of negotiation during the siege. Hostage MARCIA MIKHAEL called radio station 2GB during the siege and said, "They
have not negotiated, they've done nothing. They have left us here to die."

ABC NEWS @ 1533 HOURS ON 21 DECEMBER 2024: "A man has been charged with attempted murder after allegedly striking a South Australian police
officer with a *SWORD* in the state's Upper Spencer Gulf.
Police alleged two officers responded to a domestic disturbance at a
house on High Street at Port Augusta about 10:40am on Saturday.
The man at the residence allegedly confronted the pair and struck a
female officer in her left arm with a *SWORD*.
Police said capsicum spray was used to subdue the man before other
officers arrived.
The injured officer was taken to a local hospital before being flown to
the Royal Adelaide Hospital because of the nature of her injuries.
Police said she had undergone surgery and was recovering in hospital.
"Thankfully the officer's injuries are not life-threatening and measures
are being taken to fully support her and her family," Police
Commissioner Grant Stevens said in a statement.
